SRA / Scientist – Cancer Biology (Assay Development)

Description:

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the Team by a) participating in target identification & validation efforts; b) designing & executing in vitro assays that interrogate the impact of prospective therapeutic agents on pathways & targets of interest; and c) evaluating RNA and protein expression in cell & tissue specimens to better understand mechanisms of action. The ability to work independently, while effectively interacting and communicating with the research group and external collaborators, is also prerequisite.

Requirements:

• BS-, MS- or PhD-level with 4+ years of experience
• Proven track record in assay development
• Proficient in various cell & molecular biology techniques
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Motivated, organized and disciplined record keeping
• Great personality and excellent communication skills
